I don't know if anyone else out there has seen the film by Tom Shadyac, called "I AM", but I am now its biggest fan.  It doesn't relate to childbirth in any really direct way, but the underlying message has to do with the interconnectivity between human beings, as well as with all living things.  I have watched it 3 times in the last two days and feel like I literally CAN NOT WAIT to attend a birth.  I see everything and everyone differently today than I did a couple days ago.  I am so lucky to have a career in this beautiful business of nurturing, caring, empathy and kindness.  I think I am a vegus nerve junkie.  It's the best drug in the world and I guess I need a fix!
