I am preparing for a very busy, very exciting month here!
Tonight I will be getting very active as I teach my childbirth education class, the lesson is 2nd stage and 3rd stage labor. There is SO much happening and so much excitement at this time, it is always a fun, playful night in class.
Tomorrow morning-afternoon I am attending the Placenta Encapsulation class taught by Carrie Kenner at Big Belly Services and I'm looking forward to adding this service for my clients.
Tomorrow evening from 6:30-7:30 I will be speaking on the topic of "Normal Newborn Care" at the "Babies R Us" store in Tukwila, Washington.
I will be offering the same talk at the Bellevue "Babies R Us" store on Thursday evening, also from 6:30-7:30pm. I'll be speaking from the compiled information in my textbook "Expecting Kindness".
Saturday, May 3rd is the inaugural meeting of my KIN Mom's Group. We will be getting acquainted and sharing mothering stories that represent our particular style and values.
I'll be starting a new session of my childbirth education series next Wednesday evening at the beautiful Eastside Birth Center in Bellevue to a full house!
Meet the Doula event coming up on May 18th from 3-4:30 as well as my class to be in the schedule at the Aditi Yoga and Bodywork Studio in the Wallingford district in Seattle in the coming weeks!
I am actively manifesting the positive, calm, happy, grateful, energy needed to be in the moment and fully present at each of these events, as well as meeting with clients, making myself available to them when they need me, taking care of my own family, and taking care of myself so that I may serve well.
