Good Morning!

I have been working hard on a new little project...getting close to putting this baby to bed, so to speak!  PRESS RELEASE COMING SOON!

I am also excited to tell you all that the Eastside Birth Center has asked me to teach my classes on site at their facility and I am loving every minute of it.  This is my home away from home.  I have attended births in this facility since it opened, and with this practice even before that!  I have seen babies born in about every square inch of the original birth suite and a couple in the new addition.  I couldn't be happier to be affiliated with such a warm, caring, professional, skilled group of midwives and students.  Christine Thain, LM, CPM will always have a very special place in my heart because she was present at the births of both of my children, now 16 and 14 years old.  Her hand in hand warmth, unparalleled experience, and professionalism is truly out of this world.  Over the years she has been partnered with a variety of other midwives, but none have brought the balance that the current practice radiates.  Loren Riccio, ND, LM, CPM brings her own brand of warmth, a quiet and thoughtful intelligence, and calm presence to the table that my clients have found very reassuring and allows them to build their own confidence.  Andrea Henderson, LM, CPM, IBCLC , the newest member of the team is also intelligent, compassionate and easy to talk to.  My clients have described her as easy-going, knowledgeable and confident.  

My classes at the birth center are not limited to birth center clients only, they are open to all and the content is broad, covering home births, birth center births and hospital births alike.  There are always circumstances that can bring unexpected changes in the birth experience and i want you prepared for all of them, from an surprise home birth (really happens) to a hospital transport (really happens).  Having access to a nice large classroom as well as a real world birthing suite to practice skills in, is an amazing opportunity for all my birthing class couples.
