Kindred Birth Mentoring

Kind Birth Services is now offering mentoring to Doula's (certified or non-certified) seeking  guidance and birth experience. As a highly experienced Doula and Childbirth Educator I can help you broaden your knowledge and understanding of the labor and birth process. We will discuss the day to day operations and processes of running a doula business, covering topics such as: Interviewing, managing prenatal meetings, follow-up meetings, contract building, pay scale, etc.  On the job training with birth attendance will help you to interpret everything you've learned, and become intuitive and creative in supporting each individual family you work with. Having an opportunity to attend births in a variety of environments and with various care providers will allow you to see and experience how to apply your book knowledge to the woman in front of you, and work with family members, friends, Nurses, Midwives, and Obstetricians.

Mentoring Includes:

PLATINUM Package

• Attendance of 2 Pre-Natal Meetings
• Attendance of 3 Births
• Attendance of 2 Post-partum Meetings
• Private meetings with me to discuss and debrief births, answer questions
• Signing off on births for certification requirements
• Attending/Assisting a full series of Kind Birth Education (6 week course)
• Final meeting to go over any follow up questions about business management, organization, marketing, building relationships, etc. 

Duration of Mentoring: Approximately 3 Months

Cost: $1,000.00

GOLD Package

• Attendace of 1 Prenatal Meeting
• Attendance of 3 Births
• Attendance of 1 Post-partum Meetings
• Final meeting to go over any follow up questions about business management, organization, marketing, building relationships, etc. 
• Signing off on births for certification requirements

Duration of Mentoring: Approximately 3 months

Cost: $500.00


SILVER Package

• Attendance  of 2 Births
• Final meeting to go over follow up questions about business management, marketing, building relationships, etc.
• Signing off on births for certification requirements

Duration of Mentoring: Approximately 2 months

Cost: $300
