I never write in my journals because it is too intimidating figuring out where to start. If it is an old journal that I have written in in the past, do I have to fill in the gap, remembering all important moments between my last entry and this moment? If I find a new, lovely journal, do i have to begin by documenting my life story? This feels just like that. I have a dear friend who creates these gorgeous journals which are in no way chronological; just random entries, ideas, words, images that eventually become a real extension of herself, her evolution, her spirit. I'm going to give myself that freedom here.
